     · yea that is how Ive installed a pinion bearing on a pinion, put the pinio in the freeezer for about 20 min and I used a torch to slowlt heat it up, and it will just slide right on, But make sure it is set correctly becuase it cools with in seconds. a good pair of welding glovs will come in handy, try not to hold the bearing with a tool, you will have much more control using your hands in gloves.
